Summary
The paper focuses on presenting two petitions sent from the Ohrid Archbishop Joasaf II, from 1727, to the Ottoman Imperial Diwan (Dîvân-ı Hümâyun). The petitions are replete with essential information about the history of the Ohrid Archbishopric and its relation with the Ottoman Empire in the first half of the 18th century.
